Our notes on Cognitive Class
We wrote these notes when we read the Cognitive Class site for our SQL comparisons. For each note, you see the day of our check and a link to the page that we read.
We give the label "Product's own words" to a note that holds only what Cognitive Class says about its own product.

Cognitive Class SQL topics

Cognitive Class content and size
- You answer review questions and take a final exam. In most courses, review questions are 50% of the mark, the final exam is 50%, and you pass at 70%. Product's own words Checked October 15, 2026 (source)

- We found no statement on how anyone checks the course certificate. Cognitive Class gives IBM digital badges through Credly for some courses, but we found no SQL badge in its badge list. Checked October 15, 2026 (source)

Cognitive Class updates
- Cognitive Class opened the course for enrollment on March 1, 2016. We found no later dated change. In the list of pages that Cognitive Class gives search engines, Cognitive Class gives the course page the date October 18, 2026, but this is the day that we read that list, and Cognitive Class gives 128 of the 729 pages in the list the same date. On the course page, we found no date, and Cognitive Class gives search engines no change date in the page. Checked October 18, 2026 (source)
