We wrote these notes when we read the Dataquest site for our SQL comparisons. For each note, you see the day of our check and a link to the page that we read.

We give the label "Product's own words" to a note that holds only what Dataquest says about its own product.

Dataquest price and plans

  • Dataquest gives these full prices for Premium: $49 a month, $588 a year, or $1,176 for life. Checked October 20, 2026 (source)

Dataquest query check and help

  • Dataquest says that the Free Plan includes 6 free courses and "the first lesson of all Premium content". Dataquest does not name the free courses, so without an account, we could not find which of the 3 guided projects in the path you can do free. Checked October 17, 2026 (source)
  • Dataquest offers the lifetime plan "during limited promotions" only. You pay one time, and you get access to all current and new content. Dataquest renews the plan with a $0 fee. Checked October 16, 2026 (source)

  • We read the path page and the pages of its five courses, with their lists of lessons and projects. We found no dated change on these pages, and Dataquest gives search engines no change date for them, in the pages or in its list of pages for search engines. You must sign in to open the lessons.
